Day 71!

What a crazy week it has been! The wedding festivities have started to begin and this whole thing is starting to feel real. Last weekend, I went to Philadelphia for my first dress fitting and yes I still love my dress! It fits amazing and I am so excited to wear it. The dress gives me even more motivation to keep working hard in terms of my fitness and diet goals. It’s been almost a month since I started the paleo diet and I feel amazing. I can see a difference in my energy levels and my body. Its truly rewarding when you start to see changes and it makes you less likely to cheat.

On Tuesday night,  I came home to John cooking me a delicious dinner he found on Skinnytaste. Of course it had pasta in it. I felt SO bad that he had put in the effort to make me dinner and I wouldn’t be able to eat half of it. I gently reminded him that I couldn’t eat pasta and he looked at me like I was a complete crazy person. Luckily, the sauce was a mixture of ground turkey, brussel sproats, carrots, and other veggies and I enjoyed it without the pasta. I stuck to my guns but it was challenging! Dieting is not easy and you will face obstacles.

I am super excited for today because I have my first boxing session. I have been wanting to take up boxing for awhile and I am excited to get started. I am meeting with a trainer who is going to teach me the basics and give me a great workout. It’s always important to continue to challenge yourself and do things that scare you!

This weekend, I have my bridal shower and am thrilled to see my family and friends. Can’t wait to have some girl time and catch up with all the fabulous ladies.

Try something new today whether its a hike or a zumba class. Always keep it exciting!

Crazy 88

Back from vacation and three months to go! I can’t believe it’s September already! I was In South Carolina last week on vacation and it was gorgeous. Unfortunately, I got an unexpected visit from the flu and was out of commission for about three days. I packed all of my workout equipment in hopes to get in some solid workouts on the beach. I wasn’t expecting to get sick but in training you never know what can happen and you have to step back and get better. It’s also super important that you give yourself plenty of time to train because setbacks can happen anywhere and at anytime!

This week is going to be busy with getting clients organized for fall and working on expanding some of my wedding programs for Fit 2 Be Wed! Have a great week and train hard!
